True Carbon Zero Challenge 2026
Designed for the Design Matters National True Zero Carbon Challenge, explores what a low carbon family home can achieve when sustainability is considered from the earliest stages of design. The challenge called for a home that could produce more energy than it consumes while also addressing the embodied carbon of its materials and construction.
Our response brings together passive solar design, renewable energy, adaptable living, low impact materials and water sensitive landscaping to create a home designed for both people and the environment.
